Jeff Marlin brings extensive experience in insurance and commercial litigation. His practice focuses on defense of all manner of insured losses, including personal injury, premises liability, construction, and fire; employment and civil rights cases; as well as complex insurance coverage issues and bad faith claims. He blends careful analysis with a big picture perspective to enable clients to reach their objectives in a cost-effective manner.
Mr. Marlin grew up in the Boston area and worked as a litigator from 1988-2003. Thereafter, Mr. Marlin practiced in Vermont and most recently was a Shareholder at Primmer Piper Eggleston & Cramer P.C. in VT, specializing in insurance defense and coverage. In addition to his broad trial and deposition experience, Mr. Marlin has handled appeals before the Vermont Supreme Court, mediated numerous disputes and worked with adjusters on first and third-party property and casualty claims from cradle to grave.
Mr. Marlin is licensed to practice in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont, and is also admitted to the bars of the United States District Courts for the Districts of Massachusetts and Vermont, as well as the U.S. Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Marlin received his bachelor’s degree from Tufts University, Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa, and is a graduate of Harvard Law School.
